Giving Back to the Community

As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in society. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society. For many, a public library is their only access to manga and information on Asian culture.

As Otaku Scents has grown these past few years, we have shifted our focus to giving back to local communities. Otaku Scents gives all donations received at checkout to local public libraries or a sponsored library (for non-Dallas/Fort Worth public libraries) to be used towards purchasing new manga, and for programs such as an Anime Club hosted at a local library.

If you would like to donate, this can be made at checkout with your order. 100% of the donations collected will go to local libraries to be used for purchase of related literary items and supporting programs.
